As of today, Monday Oct 5, NOAA announced the temporary closure of the black sea bass in the federal waters North of Cape Hatteras for 180 days.
This doesn’t effect us locally but if you are planning to go to the Outer Banks be informed.
Maybe they should lower the size back down so that you can keep what you catch, but limit more closely how many to keep? Who knows, that’s why I cannot stay behind a desk.
