Mackerel

Friday, June 18th, 2010

Wednesday was another beautiful day on the ocean with 1-2 ft. seas. Scott Swing bought 4 young men along with thier grandad to fish on the Follow Me With Teddy and myself. Just as soon as we cleared the inlet we warmed the boys up on some spanish mackerel. Later on we headed about 12 miles offshore where we found some kings and then another spanish that was 26 inches and weighed in at 5 pounds! Another great day, thanks Scott.100_0021

Smooth

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

Tuesday proved to be an awesome day to be out on the water. We were able to take our new friends from Texas for an offshore trip in search of kings and mahi-mahi. With a smooth sea we ventured out 30-40 miles and the awesome Teddy Bell set out our lines. With a few spanish in the boat we started picking up some kings and hooked up on a sea train(aka amberjack) but lost him. But that’s fishing, good weather, good music and good friends makes for an unforgettable day. Thanks Chunk!100_0015100_0014100_0013
