Follow Me Charters has served the Ocean Isle Beach area since 1992. You always get exclusively Capt Fred on every Follow Me offshore trip. The rate for chartering the entire BIG 42 ft. Prowler boat is $200 per hour and we offer a 4 hr trip ($800) or 5hr ($1,000) 0r 6hr ($1,200) plus tip to Capt Fred. We have perhaps the biggest, like-new boat and most experienced Captain at Ocean Isle Beach. The $200 hourly rate on the BIG SPACIOUS 42 ft. boat is for up to six customers per trip + normally 20% tip. THAT RATE INCLUDES: 1) NO credit card processing fees to customers, 2) NO fuel surcharges, 3) Free Follow Me t-shirt on every trip to whoever catches the BIGGEST fish, 4) Free Follow Me t-shirt on every trip for whoever catches the MOST fish; these are onboard fun contests on every trip, 5) Free bottled waters, soft drinks, ice, rods, reels, bait, tackle, licenses, and 6) Free fish cleaning and packing.

All trips include: bait, tackle, ice for fish and drinks, NC saltwater fishing licenses for all onboard, free fish cleaning and packing, special giveaway t-shirts, and free bottled waters and soft drinks for all. Be sure to bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and what you wish to eat or drink (other than water and soft drinks). Common in the industry but NEVER on the Follow Me are the following: Credit card processing fees, Fuel surcharges, and Extra person charges. Follow Me offshore trips include free big fish and most fish free t-shirt contests, free ice, free waters and soft drinks, free fish cleaning/packing/delivering, and yes you get to keep all the legal size fish you catch, after we clean and pack filets in ziplocks for you.
Pay with cash, check or credit card no problem and no processing fees.
We only run private trips meaning that you and whoever you invite will be the only persons on your trip other than the Captain (Fred or Forest). Max allowed is 6 passengers (not counting Captain).
We generally leave the dock with 15+ rods pre rigged for the style of trip you book.

4 or 5 or 6 Hr Half Day Offshore Fishing Trip – The 4-hour trip ranges out to 10 nautical miles, 5 hr trip out 18 miles, 6hr trip out 25 miles. On these trips we fish for black sea bass, red snapper (closed season), trout, octopus, and sharks, with the possibility of a cobia or barracuda or king mackerel on a drift line, and Spanish or Atlantic bonita trolling (Spring and Fall). We drift squid and cut bait as we fish on the bottom. Most of the sea bass we catch on this trip are not legal size to keep, but sometimes we catch up to 10 legal sea bass, out of the normal 100+ we catch. Catching 250 on a 4 hr. trip is our record with 25 keepers so the trip is about catching rather than keeping fish. There are always plenty of bass to be caught year-round on this trip and we take off all fish quickly so you can catch, catch, and catch oftentimes two fish at a time. Sharks and barracuda are generally 3 to 4 feet long caught April through October and are good eating. Although we encourage catch and release, we are happy to clean fish. These are great trips, where 100 fish are almost always caught per trip. 6hr trips in October and November likely produce king mackerel. Longer trips = more keeper size Black Sea bass.
