Capt. Fred David is a USCG captain with 50 years experience inshore and offshore fishing. Fred lives on Ocean Isle Beach running fishing charters year-round. Fred guarantees a fun time catching fish. He knows where the fish are and enjoys making “lifetime fishermen” of kids from age 5 to 95. Married 47 years, Fred and Joy have three grown children (Forest, Byron, and Meredith) and two grandsons (Everett age 11 and Cooper age 10). Fred says grandkids are a real blessing. Fred wrote the popular hardback book titled “The History of Ocean Isle Beach.” Fred grew up in Whiteville, NC and graduated from Wake Forest University (BS and MBA), and the University of South Carolina (PhD in Business). He loves offshore fishing trips on the BIG 42 ft. Prowler catamaran, but he also loves fishing inshore on the BIG wide skiffs that Follow Me offers. Fred and Forest love kids and helping parents show kids a wonderful time.
